The Perfect Mug for Every Type of Reader (For Science, Obviously)

If you asked my partner which parts of my personality annoy him the most, he’d probably have quite a list.

My tendency to leave empty coffee cups in the car. The way I insist all dirty dishes belong in the sink so the counters look clean. Or maybe my habit of building what can only be described as a leaning tower of cardboard recycling beside the back door.

But one thing I know he’d mention, because he absolutely hates it, is my mug collection.

If you’re a coffee or tea drinker like me, then you know the perfect mug is surprisingly hard to find. It needs to be the right size, the right shape, the right colour, and dare I say it… the right mood for the occasion.

And let’s not forget seasonal mugs.

My favourite mug changes depending on the weather outside, the book I’m reading, and whether I’m drinking coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. As a result, our cupboards are practically bursting at the seams.

So in honour of my ever-growing mug collection, my book obsession, and the fact that I apparently had far too much free time on my hands today, I’ve gone searching for the perfect mug for every type of reader.

You know.

For science.

So, Which Kind of Reader Are You?

Okay, fine.

You caught me.

That last one is technically a wine tumbler…

But I don’t always drink coffee and tea while I read. Haha.

So anyway, which kind of reader are you?

Personally, I think I’m all of them depending on my mood, or what I’m reading that day.

Sometimes I’m more than one on the same day, in fact.

My dishwasher is basically a visual literary record of what kind of pages I’ve turned that day.

And if that means there’s slightly less room in the cupboards for beer mugs?

Well…

That’s just how it is around here. 😉

Before You Go…

Now I want to know: which reader personality sounds most like you?

Are you a Fantasy Escapist, a Dark Romance Reader, a Cozy Reader, or a Sleep-Deprived Mom Reader clutching a coffee mug for dear life?

Let me know in the comments. And if I missed a reader personality, tell me what it is. There is a very real possibility I’ll use it as an excuse to buy another mug.
